Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense (3–5 Years Experience)

San Antonio, TX | Hybrid Schedule | $100,000–$125,000 Bonus

A well-established and growing San Antonio law firm with a strong reputation in insurance defense litigation is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience. Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000–$125,000 (depending on experience).
• Bonus: 30% of additional revenue generated above target.
• Billable Hours: 1,920 annually.
• Hybrid Schedule: Year 1 – in-office 5 days per week for onboarding and mentorship. After Year 1 – hybrid flexibility (1–3 remote days per week).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and court appearances.
• Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Meet annual billable hour goals while maintaining high-quality work.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar membership in good standing.
• 3–5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Proactive, team-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.
