The Position:
Associates are a critical member of the team; this position is on-site in Austin, TX and the individual will have responsibilities that include:
- Deal Sourcing: Perform industry and prospective company research
- Due Diligence: Analyze financials, company and competitive data; run PE models to help determine purchase price/valuation
- Transaction Closing: Help develop investor and lender marketing material and lead select transaction closing and transition initiatives
- Partner Company Support: Work closely with partner company controllers to establish financial process and controls and ensure accurate monthly financial closes; lead select financial and strategic growth projects
- Partner Company Exits: Develop exit marketing material & 5-year financial models; manage data requests and data room requirements
The Person:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and personal attributes:
- Accounting or Finance Major, or relevant field preferred
- Top-notch academic credentials (GPA: 3.7 )
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Proven research and analytical skills with ability to use AI tools
- Dedicated, efficient, hardworking with outstanding attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
- Strong presence, maturity, communication and interpersonal skills
