Safety Manager – Dispatch Border Services LLC (DBS)
Dispatch Border Services LLC (DBS) is a fast-growing cross-border transportation company operating across the U.S. and Mexico. We specialize in flatbeds, stepdecks, Conestogas, lowboys, and specialized freight. We are seeking a Safety Manager to take ownership of our safety program and help us maintain the highest standards across our fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor driver compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and cross-border regulations
- Review driver logs, ELD data, and hours of service for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct accident/incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Manage driver onboarding, safety training, and ongoing education programs
- Maintain safety records, audit files, and ensure DOT readiness at all times
- Work closely with operations to proactively reduce risk and improve performance
- Track safety KPIs (violations, incidents, scores) and report trends to leadership
- Handle driver coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
- Coordinate drug/alcohol testing programs and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience in transportation safety management (flatbed and/or cross-border preferred)
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations
- Experience with ELD systems and safety monitoring tools
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to hold drivers accountable while maintaining professionalism
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Pay: $20.00 per hour
