What You’ll Do
Production & Baking Operations
- Morning Bake-Off: Execute daily morning baking schedules to ensure fresh breads, pizza crusts, and pastries are ready for opening.
- Dough & Prep: Mix, scale, and shape gluten-free doughs; manage fermentation timing; prep spreads, whipped cream cheeses, and pizza station toppings.
- Order Fulfillment: Prep and bake pizzas to order during service in a high-heat oven environment.
Front of House & Guest Experience
- Customer Service: Warmly greet guests, run the point-of-sale (POS) system, and maintain a vibrant, welcoming shop atmosphere.
- Product Knowledge: Become an expert on our gluten-free offerings, ingredients, and allergen protocols to guide customers confidently.
Operations & Maintenance
- Open & Close: Perform full daily transitions, including display setup, equipment calibration, and secure end-of-day closing routines.
- Sanitation & Safety: Strictly adhere to gluten-free safety standards to eliminate cross-contamination. Keep prep areas, tools, and counter spaces clean and organized.
What We’re Looking For
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs (flour bags, dough bins, oven trays) and stand for extended shift periods.
- Reliability & Attitude: Punctual, proactive, eager to learn gluten-free baking techniques, and receptive to feedback.
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work dynamic weekly shifts based on business needs.
- Detail-Oriented: Passionate about food quality, kitchen cleanliness, and customer safety.
Pay & Trial Period
- Starting Rate: $15.00/hour pooled tips for the first 30 days.
- Post-Probation Rate: $17.00/hour pooled tips upon successful completion of the 30-day trial (evaluated on attendance, initiative, skill progression, cleanliness, and teamwork).
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
