Your Role:
As the Vice President of Sales, your role includes leading sales advancement across multiple management companies, brands, and regions within Discovery Senior Living. You’ll provide strategic direction, leadership, and accountability to all sales leaders in partnership with management companies to ensure consistent execution of Discovery’s sales system, achievement of occupancy and revenue targets, and optimization of the overall sales process.
Position Highlights:
- Status: Full Time – Exempt
- Location: Remote - Must be located near a major airport. Dallas, TX preferred but open to other locations.
- Rate of Pay: $192,000-$225,000 25% bonus
- Travel: Up to 35%

What You’ll Do:
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Partner with the SVP of Sales to develop, design, and execute sales strategies across the enterprise
- Provide guidance, leadership, and management to all Sales leadership across multiple management companies
- Lead the implementation and adherence to Discovery’s established sales system to ensure consistent results
- Oversee sales advancement initiatives that drive occupancy and net revenue performance
- Evaluate sales performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement targeted solutions
- Drive innovation in senior living sales through collaboration, analytics, and performance-based initiatives
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Capital Partner leaders to build confidence through transparent communication and results delivery
- Present monthly results, respond to sales-related inquiries, and maintain strong partner relationships
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Marketing teams to enhance sales optimization, lead generation, and conversion efforts
- Align marketing and sales campaigns, promotions, and community positioning strategies to achieve desired outcomes
Operations & Product Development Partnership
- Collaborate with Operations to align sales and operational strategies, programs, and execution
- Present compelling ROI analyses to support capital expenditure decisions and occupancy growth initiatives
- Provide sales subject matter expertise for the development and launch of new brands and products (including Choreograph and other lifestyle options)
- Contribute to Learning & Development initiatives by supporting sales training and enablement programs
Sales Optimization & Integration
- Partner with Business Optimization and Assimilation teams to guide transitioning communities
- Review results regularly, providing feedback and strategic direction to maximize outcomes
- Ensure smooth integration of new management company communities into Discovery’s sales structure
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales leadership experience within senior living or related industries
- Proven success in multi-site or enterprise-level sales strategy and execution
- Project management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with ability to influence across functions and levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; able to present effectively to executives, capital partners, and internal teams
- Highly analytical with ability to interpret performance metrics and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software
- Exceptional organization, follow-through, and time management skills
- Travel up to 35% as required to successfully perform job responsibilities
