Job Description
We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide exemplary care to our residents in our assisted living community. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive environment while addressing the physical, social, and emotional needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including, but not limited to, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and build a rapport with residents to ensure they feel comfortable and secure.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health status to the nursing team.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a comprehensive continuum of care.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with resident mobility and transportation as needed.
- Support residents in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
- Prior experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate nature with a high level of patience.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and standing for extended periods.
