Part-Time After School Teacher & Driver
2026–2027 School Year
Discovery Kidzone Montessori School is hiring Part-Time After School Teachers and Drivers for the upcoming school year beginning in August 2026.
We are looking for dependable, energetic team members who enjoy working with children and creating a positive, engaging environment after school each day. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, leading group activities, and helping children learn through play, creativity, and exploration.
Position Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving record required
- Comfortable driving a 14-passenger van or small bus
- Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities with children
Responsibilities
- Safely transport children to and from local schools and scheduled activities
- Supervise children and maintain a safe, supportive environment
- Lead recreational activities, outdoor games, creative projects, and group experiences
- Encourage positive social interactions and teamwork
- Support children’s independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills
- Assist with snacks, restroom routines, and classroom transitions when needed
- Communicate professionally with families and coworkers
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Collaborate with team members to support daily program operations
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; paid training provided
- Positive, patient, and dependable attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy environment
- Interest in working with school-age children
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to complete all required state licensing trainings
