What You'll Do
As a Classroom Specialist, you'll be an important part of our teaching team. You'll help classrooms run smoothly while creating positive, engaging experiences for children throughout the center.
Your day may include:
- Supporting classrooms and age groups throughout the center
- Assisting with teacher breaks, classroom transitions, and daily schedule coverage
- Supporting daily routines including meals, naps, diapering, and toileting
- Engaging children through storytelling, music, movement, crafts, games, and hands-on activities
- Encouraging positive behavior, social skills, independence, and confidence
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning experiences
- Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions
- Helping maintain clean, organized, and safe classroom environments
- Collaborating with teachers and center leadership to meet classroom needs
- Communicating professionally with coworkers and families when appropriate
What We're Looking For
You don't need previous childcare experience. We're looking for someone who is:
- At least 16 years old
- Passionate about working with children
- Comfortable working with different age groups
- Caring, patient, dependable, flexible, and organized
- Positive and able to adapt to changing classroom needs
- A strong communicator and team player
- Willing to learn and complete required Montana licensing and training requirements
- CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Previous childcare experience is helpful, but not required. Paid training is provided!
