Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging daily activities that support childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, infant care, and classroom management strategies.
• Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times during classroom sessions.
• Foster positive behavior management techniques to encourage cooperation, respect, and social skills among children.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care in collaboration with specialists when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents while adhering to licensing standards and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's development, milestones, and daily experiences.
• Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials for activities and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom environments.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Valid certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or related fields are preferred but not mandatory. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
