We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as a Cook, Janitorial, & Child Care Provider. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of meals with an emphasis on dietary guidelines, menu planning, and recipe adherence, utilizing culinary techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food production.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to ensure high-quality food service in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility by performing janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Support dietary department operations through food handling, portion control, and high-volume food production for daily meal services.
- Provide attentive child care by supervising children’s activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and engaging in developmental play.
- Assist with meal preparation for children and staff while adhering to dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines.
- Manage kitchen inventory, monitor food safety management practices, and ensure compliance with all health regulations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling regulations, and kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
- Prior janitorial experience or knowledge of cleaning protocols to uphold a safe environment.
- Compassionate attitude towards children with the ability to supervise responsibly while engaging positively in their activities.
