What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurse position at Discovery Health Sciences Schools?
Discovery Health Sciences Schools seeks a certified Nurse with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Education certification is an asset. The School Nurse will be responsible for:
- Administering care to sick students
- Medication administration for students
- Actively coordinating with the Administration Team, Science Teachers, and HPE teachers to help deliver the Discovery Schools healthy living and healthy environment curriculum to students & families
- Maintaining medical records and required health documents
- Serving in a leadership role for health policies, health programs, and compliance
