Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (BROD) is a newly authorized Type 2 Charter that is part of the Discovery Schools Charter Management Organization. We are excited to bring Discovery education to the Baton Rouge area through our second corporate partnership with Ochsner Health. The school opened for the 2023-24 school year, starting with grades PreK4 - 4th and will eventually educate students in grades PreK - 8th at full capacity.
Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks Bachelor’s or Master’s degree teacher certified in Lower School Physical Education/Health. 2 years experience with lower school students in a school setting preferred. ESL or Special Ed. certification is an asset. Certification or interest in achieving certification in multiple areas a plus. A strong candidate will have an interest and ability to support one or more extra curricular club or sport outside of the regular school day. Position available now.
