6th Grade Science/Social Studies Teacher
Discovery Health Sciences Schools seeks Bachelor’s or Master’s degree teacher certified in Middle School Science or Social Studies. 2 years’ experience with middle school students in a school setting preferred. SPED certification is an asset. Knowledge of EOC testing, ACT/SAT prep, and Louisiana State Standards preferred. Certification or interest in achieving certification in multiple areas a plus. A strong candidate will have an interest and ability to support one or more extra-curricular club or sport outside of the regular school day. Position available August 2026. Summer training and workshops may be required.
