What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kindergarten Teacher position at Discovery Health Sciences Schools?
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks Bachelor's or Master's degree, LA4 Kindergarten Teacher certified in Early Childhood. Additional certifications in ELL, Special Education, Reading Specialist, and Elementary Education is desirable. Two years experience teaching young children in a school setting is preferred. Familiarity with early childhood standards, Guided Reading, Writing Workshop, differentiated instruction and math centers is an asset. Interest in leading extracurricular activities is a plus. Trainings and workshops in the summer may be required. Position available August 2026.
