Duties

- Conduct assessments related to behavioral health needs, including standardized testing and behavioral observations.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in School Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Valid school counselor certification/license as required by state or local regulations.
- Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds in educational or social service settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, school policies, and educational compliance standards.
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques and behavioral health interventions.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Familiarity with childhood development stages, adolescent issues, and mental health counseling practices.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion while maintaining professionalism at all times.
