What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Provider/Teacher position at Discovery centers?
Discovery Kids in Riverton is looking for an enthusiastic, patient, nurturing, and reliable preschool teacher to add to our team! We have a curriculum for our teachers to follow for guidance but also allows for a lot of creativity and flexibility for planned activities. The preschool teacher will be responsible for teaching about various themes throughout the year for the children to learn about the world they live in, social, and emotional skills. We will also focus on skills needed to enter kindergarten such as holding a pencil, scissor skills, letters, numbers, etc. Preschool is a magical age where children learn and grow so much!
As a preschool teacher, you will need to be proactive in managing your time and classroom. Young children thrive on routine and consistency, so reliability is essential. We assist our teachers with obtaining their CDAs and provide ongoing training, and we highly value following best practices and CCQS.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
