Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of healthcare professionals delivering comprehensive speech therapy services to patients in their homes in CAPE CORAL, FORT MYERS AND NORTH FORT MYERS area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes, including instruction on exercises and techniques to improve communication and swallow function
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Communicate and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care
• Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques and strategies to manage symptoms and improve communication and swallow function
• Provide education and training to other healthcare professionals and caregivers on speech-language pathology interventions and strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely records and complete necessary documentation
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including HIPAA regulations and guidelines
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in home health or a related field
• Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
