The Digital Media Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing Discovering Truth Ministries’ mission by developing and executing digital media strategies that promote our message, engage supporters, drive donations, and expand awareness. This position is ideal for a creative, organized, and mission-minded individual who is passionate about digital storytelling and community engagement.

Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with ministry goals.
- Plan monthly content calendars around campaigns, events, products, and ministry initiatives.
- Develop a marketing plan and strategy for selling ministry products on social media.
- Stay informed about digital media trends and apply best practices to increase engagement and reach.
- Work with outside vendors on digital paid advertising.
Social Media Content Creation and Management
- Create, write, and design high-quality, on-brand social media content that aligns with Discovering Truth Ministries’ voice and values.
- Use Canva, CapCut, and similar tools to design visually engaging graphics, stories, and video clips.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic across all platforms for brand recognition.
- Schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Coordinate with team members to gather media, photos, stories, quotes, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content that highlight the ministry’s impact.
- Mine content from ministry books, products, blog posts, sermons, and podcast recordings to repurpose into engaging social content.
Digital Media Support
- Maintain a well-organized digital asset library.
Community Engagement and Support
- Monitor social channels, respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and gracious manner.
- Foster a growing online community by encouraging meaningful conversations and engagement around ministry content.
- Support fundraising, ministry campaigns, and product promotions through creative storytelling and calls to action.
- Build and maintain relationships with followers, partners, podcast listeners, and influencers who align with our mission.
- Encourage user-generated content and participation in ministry discussions, events, and initiatives.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Track social media analytics to assess effectiveness and growth.
- Provide regular engagement reports with insights and recommendations that inform future content and strategy.
- Analyze audience behavior and platform performance trends to optimize messaging, timing, calls to action, and ad strategies.
- Make data-driven decisions to improve reach, engagement, viewership, and conversions.
Qualifications:
- A strong personal commitment to the mission and values of Discovering Truth Ministries.
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or communications (nonprofit experience preferred).
- Proficiency with Canva, Meta Business Suite, and other content management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong eye for design, storytelling, and brand consistency.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience analyzing social media insights and adjusting strategy based on data.
