Role Description
We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Financial Controller to join our executive leadership team. This role will serve as a key member of our executive team, driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. The ideal candidate brings deep financial expertise, sharp business acumen, and a proven ability to lead in complex, high-growth environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist executive staff with the company’s financial strategy, planning, and forecasting processes to support business objectives
- Provide strategic recommendations to executive staff on financial analysis and projections
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, tax, and compliance
- Drive capital allocation strategy, including investments, M&A, and fundraising activities
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks
- Assist in banking relationships, and external stakeholder communications
- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Partner cross-functionally to support operational efficiency and scalable growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA strongly preferred)
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including prior controller or senior finance role
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial modeling, and corporate finance
- Experience with scaling organizations, ideally in manufacturing, automotive or similar sector
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and governance best practices
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High integrity, sound judgment, and a results-driven mindset
