Floater Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside a supportive lead teacher to create fun, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences for children.
• Help guide children as they learn, grow, and reach new milestones every day.
• Provide loving care and supervision for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years in a warm, family-like early childhood environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom where children feel comfortable and excited to learn.
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and positive behavior guidance.
• Help plan hands-on activities, art projects, outdoor play, and learning centers that make each day exciting.
• Build strong relationships with children through encouragement, patience, and positive interactions.
• Work as part of a team that values communication, support, and a fun work atmosphere.

Experience:

• Previous experience working with infants through age 6 preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who loves working with children.
• Knowledge of early childhood development is helpful but not required.
• Experience in childcare, preschool, or daycare settings is a plus.
• Ability to stay organized, flexible, and keep up with an active classroom.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must be able to pass a state required background check and meet all licensing requirements.

Hours:

• 4 days per week, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, day off during the week)
• Consistent schedule with long weekends built in some weeks
