Position Summary:

Responsible for maintaining and inspecting property, buildings, equipment, utilities, furnishings, and grounds.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities and skills required of this position. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

  • Maintain and inspect, plumbing, property, buildings, furniture, furnishings, etc. Work with outside cleaning and service representatives in checking, maintaining, and repairing building equipment and coordinating needs.
  • Transport supplies to other offices that the courier cannot. Ensure offices have rock salt, remove light snow periodically in winter months.
  • Performs maintenance on equipment, furniture, buildings, and property and has knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and plastering.
  • Performs minor building and furniture modifications or repairs involving carpentry, painting, wiring, and other general maintenance of physical locations.
  • Help get old equipment to the dumpster or to charities periodically. Responsible for moving and setting up furniture within offices, conference/ group rooms and other work areas.
  • Regularly inspects buildings and provides condition assessments of building, parking lots, landscaping needs, and sprinkler systems.
  • Check and replace light bulbs. Notify management of outside and parking lot lighting. Work with contracted vendors.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for troubleshooting and repair support.

  • Worker is subject to changing inside and/or outside temperatures which may include extreme heat (temperatures above 100 degrees) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32 degrees).
  • Works both inside and outside. Subject to weather.
  • Must work under hazardous conditions including high places, chemical exposures, electrical current, moving machinery, exposure to blood, etc.
  • Frequent local travel. Frequent out-of-town travel. This position is not a remote work position.
  • Must have reliable transportation, insurance, and driver’s license, and ability to travel to and from multiple locations.
  • Technical skills including proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and ticketing systems.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, lower, bend, or kneel on a regular basis.
  • Access to company cell phone to be contacted for emergency facilities maintenance needs.
  • Able to operate drills, electrical tools, welder, meters, timers, hand tools, shovel, spread salt and all related machinery
