Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. This is a 3rd shift position.
Duties
- Understands, and follows all established safety, health, quality, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
- Identifies and corrects problems, applies scientific knowledge and experience in making repairs and training others in areas of expertise; document changes; addresses questionable parts.
- Repairs systems of water, air, pavements, walls, ceilings, roof, lawn, electrical, hydraulics, pumps, motors, etc.
- Reduce costs via higher efficiency by keeping presses and other secondary equipment in good working order.
- Responsible for ensuring all equipment and machines are operational and safe with all safety features in place. Must ensure all proper PPE is available and being used for each specific task.
Requirements
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
- Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field.
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must provide own tools.
