About direct2you
direct2you is a fast-paced direct mail marketing company based in the south Denver metro area. We specialize in driving measurable new business for multi-unit and franchise clients through targeted direct mail campaigns backed by demographic data and analytics.
The Role: 100% Execution & High-Volume Print Production
We are looking for a focused, detail-driven Print Production Artist who excels in speed, accuracy, and technical prepress discipline.
This is a heads-down, high-volume production role, not an open-ended concept or brand-development design position.
Your entire day is focused on flawless execution: assembling fast-turnaround postcards from provided client brand assets, adhering strictly to franchise style guidelines, managing bleeds, and postal clearances, and generating multiple accurate, press-ready proofs daily.
If you thrive on organizing files, mastering InDesign, hitting tight daily deadlines, and take pride in meticulous file prep and clean, press-ready output, this job is built for you.
What You Will Do Daily
- High-Volume Proof Generation: Build and revise dozens of direct mail postcard layouts per week within established client templates and brand standards.
- Prepress & Postal Compliance: Ensure every file strictly complies with print and USPS mailing specifications—including correct bleeds, safe margins, crop marks, spot/process colors, resolution (300 DPI), indicia placement, and barcode clear zones.
- Asset & Style Integration: Ingest raw client assets (logos, high-res photography, offers, disclaimers) and drop them cleanly into structured InDesign files without distorting aspect ratios or violating brand guidelines.
- Rigorous Quality Control: Self-proof every piece for typography consistency, phone numbers, disclaimers, alignment, and export settings before outputting client proofs.
- Pipeline Speed: Manage a continuous daily queue, rapidly turning around client revisions and packaging final, press-ready PDFs for print vendors.
Who You Are
- An InDesign Specialist: InDesign is your native environment. You navigate styles (character, paragraph, object), master pages, layers, and preflight tools effortlessly and rely on keyboard shortcuts to work fast.
- Process-Driven & Fast: You enjoy working in a systematic, structured rhythm. Switching between multiple template-driven client files across a single day energizes rather than drains you.
- Technical over Conceptual: You prefer taking provided elements and executing a balanced, error-free layout over staring at a blank canvas waiting for inspiration.
- Detail-Obsessed: You catch broken links, RGB elements hiding in CMYK workflows, missing bleed lines, and postal clearance infringements before anyone else does.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated print production, prepress, or high-volume publishing experience (e.g., commercial printer, sign shop, direct mail house, or catalog production).
- Advanced Adobe InDesign proficiency is required
- Demonstrated understanding of commercial offset/digital print workflows (bleeds, trims, color separations, CMYK, rich black vs. 100% K, high-res PDF export settings).
- Direct mail production experience (familiarity with USPS addressing areas, barcode clearances, and postal requirements) is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational habits, clean layer/file naming conventions, and dependable time management.
- Reliable commute to our Englewood, CO office Monday through Thursday.

- Health insurance & Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
- Dental insurance & Vision insurance
