Material Handler 1st Shift

Job Description:
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:30AM to 4PM.; Mandatory Friday OT when needed 8 hour shift

Pay: $17.00/hour

Temp-to-Permanent: Based on performance and attendance

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for a temp-to-permanent opportunity with one of our local customers. As a staffing agency, we are committed to matching qualified candidates with the right opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (electric and propane) to move material around the warehouse, load/unload trucks, and assist with machine loading as needed.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and ensuring materials are safely moved.
• Strong computer literacy: Use our job system for tasks like order lookups, scanning items in and out, and uploading data.
Off the forklift, additional responsibilities include:

• • Taking inventory and assisting with load wrapping.
  • Providing support to other departments as necessary.

• 5 years of verifiable forklift experience is required.
• Solid, stable work history—we are looking for candidates with long-term job longevity and commitment.
• All candidates must successfully pass a drug screen as part of the hiring process. Please note that any positive THC results will disqualify candidates from consideration for this position.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills: Experience with data entry, order lookups, and system usage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting with various tasks and equipment.
• Must be flexible with hours, including mandatory Friday hours.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
