Director of Supply Chain Management
Our client is a global leader in manufacturing safety products that service healthcare, hospitality and food solutions. They are seeking to hire a Director of Supply Chain Management responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain process and operations. Analyze data, review prepared reports and make changes to improve processes/procedures. In this role, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiencies and ensure supply chain operations meet required standards.
Role reports to an office daily (M-F).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations ensuring efficiency
- Lead and implement supply chain processes; maintain supply with minimal excess
- Analyze supply chain metrics and review reports of supply chain data; identify trends and forecast demands to help drive business
- Create and implement new policies and procedures to optimize supply chain operations
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals and customer/market demands
- Manage relationships with suppliers and 3PL partners
- Oversee procurement of materials/supplies for timely and cost-effective deliveries
- Review and manage contract agreements
- Lead implementation of improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost reductions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Min. 10 years of Supply Chain Management / Operations experience
- Background in Finance / Financial Analysis
- Previous experience in a Leadership role
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, meet strict deadlines
- High attention to detail, detail oriented
- Exceptional Leadership & Strategic Planning Skills
- Excellent Communication & Analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite & Supply Chain software/platforms (ERP)
Offering:
- Base Salary $150,000 - $175,000 (based on experience)
