Receptionist/ Operations Support

Job Summary

The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This role involves managing the front desk operations, answering, and directing phone calls, and responding to inquiries in person, via email, or over the phone. The receptionist also handles administrative tasks such as sorting mail, and ensuring the reception area remains clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary.
• Welcome and direct visitors and clients.
• Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
• Maintain conference room schedules.
• Sort, scan, and deliver office mail.
• Work with office manager to keep inventory of all office supplies.
• Create FedEx labels and track packages.
• Water the office plants.
• Manage the ordering and communication of 3rd party verification orders for the Division including, verifications of employment, insurance documents, tax transcripts, title documents certificates of eligibility for VA borrowers.
• Help office manager with celebrating individual employee birthdays in the office.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education Experience

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform bending, squatting, and kneeling tasks as needed.
