Direct Counsel is representing a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Associate with 3–6 years of law firm experience to join its nationally recognized Environmental Practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Support environmental due diligence for commercial real estate transactions
- Advise on environmental risks related to acquisitions, development, leasing, financing, and sales
- Evaluate environmental risks and oversee related regulatory compliance
- Assist with brownfield redevelopment and environmental risk management
- Negotiate environmental provisions in sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Work with leading real estate investment funds and transaction teams
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of law firm experience
- Strong interest in environmental law and commercial real estate
- Experience with environmental due diligence or transactional environmental matters preferred
- Pennsylvania Bar admission required
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong writing, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume deal environment
