Trademark Attorney (5-10yrs)- Winston-Salem

Direct Counsel is representing an Amlaw 100 firm seeking an experienced Trademark Attorney to join its Trademark, Copyright, Privacy & IP Transactions Practice Group in one of its U.S. offices (Atlanta, Boston, Raleigh, or Winston-Salem). This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex intellectual property matters for leading clients across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle trademark clearance, prosecution, and maintenance matters.

• Advise clients on trademark disputes and enforcement actions.

• Provide legal counsel on copyright and advertising issues.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and execute IP protection strategies.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and contribute to the growth of the IP practice.

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of active practice as a trademark attorney.

• Significant experience with trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, disputes, and enforcement.

• Experience in copyright and advertising law is a plus.

• Must be licensed in the jurisdiction of practice.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Excellent academic credentials and a commitment to client service.

Compensation & Benefits:

• National Salary Range: $90,000 – $300,000 (final starting salary dependent on location, qualifications, and experience).

• Discretionary performance-based bonus potential.
