Real Estate Equities Associate

Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Equities Associate with 4 to 6 years of experience to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in its Downtown Los Angeles office. This is an exciting opportunity to handle a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and financing transactions for a diverse base of clients, including developers, investment companies, advisors, pension funds, and REITs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a variety of real estate equity matters, particularly acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and financing, including negotiation and preparation of loan documents.

• Participate in the development of commercial real estate projects.

• Collaborate closely with clients on sophisticated real estate transactions, helping to navigate complex structures and deal terms.

Qualifications:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in acquisitions, dispositions, real estate joint ventures, and financing transactions.

• Strong skills in writing, organization, analytical thinking, and communication.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Major law firm experience preferred.

• High academic achievement and admission to the State Bar of California.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $250,000 to $300,000 per year (actual salary will depend on experience and qualifications).
