Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation & Privacy Associate Attorney to join a leading global law firm with a highly regarded Employment & Labor practice. This opportunity is available in Los Angeles, Oakland, San Diego, or San Francisco.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside collaborative attorneys on sophisticated litigation and counseling matters involving ADA accessibility compliance, website accessibility, California privacy litigation, and broader employment-related disputes. Responsibilities

Handle litigation matters involving ADA accessibility and accommodations law, with a focus on website accessibility claims

Assist clients with accessibility compliance strategies and risk mitigation efforts

Work on physical accessibility litigation and California privacy-related litigation matters, including claims arising under CIPA and related statutes

Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents

Collaborate closely with partners and team members on case strategy and client counseling

Support broader employment and labor litigation matters as needed

Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a dynamic practice environment
Qualifications

At least 1 year of litigation experience at a law firm or comparable legal setting

Strong academic credentials

Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills

Experience with ADA accessibility litigation and/or California privacy law is a plus

Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively

Comfortable working with technology and handling technology-related legal issues

Licensed and in good standing to practice law in California

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $215,000 – $260,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
