Direct Counsel is representing a prestigious Am Law 100 global law firm seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Austin office. This full-time opportunity allows the associate to work on complex commercial and business litigation matters across a variety of industries and practice areas.
The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of litigation experience and be prepared to handle high-stakes matters while receiving mentorship and career development within a nationally recognized practice group.
Key Responsibilities

Manage complex commercial and business litigation matters, including antitrust, construction, product liability, real estate, financial services, and energy disputes.

Take depositions and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.

Brief and argue dispositive and discovery motions.

Interface with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

Support mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings as needed.

Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management.
Qualifications

3–6 years of relevant litigation experience at a law firm.

Strong familiarity with federal, state, and local procedural rules.

Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.

Experience with mediation, arbitration, or trial is a plus.

Active Texas State Bar membership in good standing.
