Legal Recruiting & Professional Development Coordinator
Location: California (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Compensation: $33.65 – $43.27/hour

Position Overview
The Legal Recruiting & Professional Development Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Attorney Recruitment & Professional Development to support firmwide hiring initiatives and attorney development programs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in legal recruiting who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Partner with leadership to execute strategic recruiting initiatives
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruiting records
- Manage attorney candidate due diligence, including conflicts checks
- Facilitate background and reference checks in collaboration with HR
- Support onboarding, orientation, and integration of new hires
- Track recruiting metrics and generate reports
Professional Development
- Assist in developing attorney training, mentoring, and development programs
- Support inclusion and equity initiatives, events, and communications
- Coordinate internal meetings, trainings, and firmwide programming
- Contribute to strategic projects related to attorney growth and retention
Administrative & Cross-Functional Support
- Maintain candidate databases and recruiting files
- Collect and distribute interview feedback
- Assist with reporting and analytics on recruiting efforts
- Provide support to HR, Operations, and Marketing as needed
Qualifications
- 3 years of legal recruiting experience required
- Strong understanding of the California legal market
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, LawCruit)
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Ability to thrive under deadlines and shifting priorities
