What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intellectual Property & Technology Transactions Associate Attorney position at Direct Counsel?
The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of intellectual property and technology experience, with a background in technology and/or life sciences transactions. This role involves advising clients on sophisticated technology, life sciences, digital innovation, and commercial transactions across a diverse range of industries, including cross-border matters and the intellectual property and technology aspects of corporate transactions.
Candidates will work closely with attorneys across multiple practice groups, draft and negotiate complex agreements, provide strategic legal advice, interact directly with clients, and mentor junior attorneys.

Qualifications:

3–6 years of intellectual property and technology transactions experience.

Background in technology and/or life sciences transactions.

Experience drafting and negotiating technology, IP, and commercial agreements.

Exposure to cross-border transactions and digital innovation matters preferred.

Salary Range: $260,000–$495,000, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
