Financial Innovation & Regulation Attorney Associate Government Affairs & Public Policy

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in developing a broad regulatory practice advising banks, fintech companies, and financial services clients on complex financial regulatory and public policy matters.

Washington, D.C. | New York, NY

• Advise clients on banking, consumer finance, payments, commodities, derivatives, and securities regulations.

• Research and analyze evolving financial regulatory frameworks and related policy developments.

• Support regulatory counseling and compliance matters involving financial institutions and fintech companies.

• Assist with matters involving financial technology and digital asset regulation.

• Collaborate with partners within the Government Affairs and Public Policy Group on sophisticated financial regulatory matters.

• Develop a broad-based practice across multiple areas of financial services regulation.

• 3–4 years of financial regulatory experience.

• Strong background in banking, financial services, or related regulatory matters.

• Prior law firm experience strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with fintech and digital asset regulatory issues preferred.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Active New York or Washington, D.C. Bar admission required, in good standing.

• Excellent academic credentials, legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

$260,000–$310,000 Base Salary
