Direct Counsel is partnering with a leading firm to identify a skilled Employment & Labor Associate for its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic practice handling sophisticated matters for high-profile national clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions
- Represent clients in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration proceedings
- Advise employers on a broad range of employment matters, including:
- Employee handbooks and workplace policies
- Onboarding and separation documentation
- Leaves of absence and accommodations
- Employee discipline and compliance issues
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of employment and labor law experience
- Strong background in employment litigation and counseling
- Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Active admission to the California State Bar
Compensation:
- Base salary range: $325,000 – $365,000, depending on experience and qualifications
