About the Role
Direct Counsel is partnering with a premier law firm to recruit a junior-level associate attorney for its rapidly growing Data Privacy & Cybersecurity practice. This Chambers-ranked team advises clients across the full lifecycle of privacy and cybersecurity matters. The position may be based in either the Chicago or Dallas office.
Key Responsibilities

Support clients in responding to data breaches and managing incident response.

Assist with privacy and data breach litigation.

Advise on global privacy compliance and regulatory obligations.

Provide guidance on data protection issues in complex corporate transactions.

Work with U.S. state and federal privacy laws; prior exposure is strongly preferred.
Qualifications

Junior-level associate with relevant experience in privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory, or technology-related matters.

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this role is $225,000–$260,000, depending on experience and other job-related factors. The firm offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
