Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Insurance Associate Attorney to join a leading international law firm’s Corporate practice group. This role is ideal for an attorney with experience advising clients on corporate insurance matters, including placements and claims management related to complex business transactions and corporate governance issues.
Responsibilities

Advise clients on corporate insurance matters, including Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance, representations & warranties insurance, cyber liability, and other insurance placements.

Provide guidance on insurance claims management, including policy interpretation and coverage issues.

Assist with insurance considerations related to corporate transactions and governance matters.

Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, coverage analyses, and related correspondence.

Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate insurance and indemnification matters.

Support dispute resolution matters involving corporate/M&A disputes, indemnification issues, and securities-related claims.

Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications

3–6 years of relevant experience in corporate insurance, corporate transactions, or related litigation matters.

Experience advising on D&O insurance, representations & warranties insurance, cyber liability, or similar corporate insurance lines.

Experience with commercial contract indemnification, corporate/M&A disputes, or securities litigation is a plus.

Background working in a large law firm or comparable corporate legal environment preferred.

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication, organizational, and client management abilities.

JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of the office location.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000, depending on experience, geographic market, and overall qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided.
