Direct Counsel is partnering with one of the world’s leading international law firms, seeking highly qualified mid-level Corporate Associates for its Corporate & Business Transactions group. About the Role

The firm is seeking candidates with 3–5 years of law firm experience in:

• Mergers & acquisitions (buyer- and seller-side)

• Private equity transactions

• Drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents

• Managing deal processes and conducting due diligence

Ideal candidates will bring:

• Excellent academic credentials

• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills

• The ability to work efficiently on fast-paced, high-stakes transactions

This role provides direct exposure to sophisticated clients—from emerging companies to global enterprises—and the chance to work within a collaborative, deeply experienced transactional team.

Applicants must be active members of the bar in the state corresponding to their chosen office.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range (NJ, NY, CA, Washington, D.C.): $225,000 – $435,000

Final compensation will vary based on:

• Experience & transactional expertise

• Business needs and market conditions

• Education, licensing, and geographic location

Total compensation may include:

All positions are at-will, and compensation may be adjusted based on individual or firm performance and market changes.
