Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a mid-level associateΒ to join its Commodities and Derivatives Regulation and Enforcement Practice in the firmβs New York office.
πΌ About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading financial regulatory and derivatives group advising top-tier investment managers, financial institutions, and FinTech/crypto innovators. The role covers both regulatory and transactional matters, including:

Compliance with Dodd-Frank, CFTC, and SEC regulations

Structuring and negotiating derivatives transactions involving commodities, interest rate swaps, FX, and credit derivatives

Advising on futures and emerging areas such as crypto trading platforms and digital asset compliance
β What We're Looking For:

3 years of experience with commodities, futures, or derivatives transactions

Strong transactional background; regulatory experience a plus

Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to waive in
