Construction Associate - Scottsdale, AZ

Direct Counsel is partnering with a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm to identify a Construction Litigation Associate with 3  years of experience to join its Construction Business Unit in Scottsdale, AZ. The attorney must be currently licensed to practice law in Arizona.

Key Responsibilities

• Trial preparation and courtroom experience

• Managing case files with direct responsibility

• Drafting and arguing motions

• Taking and defending depositions

• Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings and briefs

• Supporting settlement negotiations and dispute resolution efforts

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have 3 years of construction litigation experience

• Strong advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills

• Experience with motion practice and depositions required

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to learn new areas of law

• Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $160,000 – $175,000 (DOE)
