Construction Associate

Direct Counsel is proud to partner with an AmLaw 200 firm in its search for an Attorney with 2 years of construction law experience to join the firm’s Construction Business Unit in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Courtroom experience, including file management, motion practice, and depositions

• Strong advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills

• Prior experience handling construction claims in litigation and/or arbitration

• Familiarity with drafting and negotiating construction contracts for owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals (preferred)

Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills

• A solid work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal service

• A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active license to practice law in Arizona

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $130,000 – $165,000 annually (based on a full-time schedule)

• Annual discretionary bonus eligibility

• Compensation is based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skillset, internal equity, and market conditions
