Commercial Litigation Associate – Las Vegas

Direct Counsel is representing an Amlaw 100 firm seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its Las Vegas office as part of a nationally ranked Business Litigation Practice. This is a full-time, onsite position offering the opportunity to handle sophisticated disputes for clients across a variety of industries including gaming, entertainment, financial services, real estate, insurance, and construction.

About the Role:

This position is ideal for a motivated associate with commercial litigation experience who’s ready to contribute to complex legal matters, take ownership of significant responsibilities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across a national platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of business and commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, taking/defending depositions, and preparing for hearings or trial

• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys

• Conduct legal research, write persuasive briefs and motions, and engage in client communication

• Work closely with partners and clients from a variety of sectors

• Participate in professional and community organizations to enhance client engagement and visibility

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably in a large law firm setting

• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and project management skills

• Excellent academic credentials

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Must be admitted to the Nevada Bar

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $225,000 – $250,000/year, commensurate with experience
