Business Litigation Associate Attorney – Dallas
Direct Counsel is seeking a Business Litigation Associate to join a highly regarded law firm in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team on sophisticated commercial, civil, and business litigation matters, representing national and international clients across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of complex commercial litigation, including consumer and shareholder class actions, M&A disputes, securities litigation, corporate governance matters, real estate financing and development conflicts, and product liability cases.
- Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery, depositions, and motions practice.
- Conduct legal research, draft persuasive pleadings, and present arguments in court.
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of litigation experience at a law firm, with a strong background in commercial litigation.
- Skills: Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities. Deposition, hearing, and oral argument experience is a plus.
- Education: Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Must be an active member of the Texas bar.
