Business Litigation Associate Attorney – Minneapolis
Direct Counsel is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded law firm in Minneapolis. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on complex commercial, civil, and business litigation matters for a diverse national and international client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle high-stakes litigation matters, including trade secret and non-compete disputes, intellectual property litigation, and M&A-related litigation.
- Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery, motion practice, and brief writing.
- Conduct legal research, draft compelling pleadings, and participate in court proceedings.
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop strategic litigation approaches.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of litigation experience at a law firm, with a strong focus on complex commercial litigation.
- Skills: Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Deposition, hearing, and oral argument experience is a plus.
- Education: Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
- Clerkship: Federal judicial clerkship experience is highly valued.
- Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice law.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $210,000 to $265,000 (for Minneapolis); compensation varies by location.
