Bankruptcy Senior Attorney - Detroit, MIDirect Counsel is partnering with a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm to identify an Attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join its Bankruptcy business unit in the Detroit office. Candidates must hold an active license in the State of Michigan or eligible for admission without examination.The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
- Bankruptcy specific experience representing business debtors, creditors, landlords, and supply chain parties
- Familiarity with the bankruptcy code, the uniform commercial code, and experience with commercial transactions, corporate workouts and restructurings
- Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills
- Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school are required
- Detail-oriented, organized, and possess a solid work ethic
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $190,000 – $220,000 annually (DOE).
Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
