Direct Counsel has partnered with an AMLAW 100 law firm that is seeking a senior-level business attorney with 7 years of corporate experience to join their General Counsel Services team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a broad range of clients across various industries, providing strategic legal counsel on complex domestic and international commercial contracts. The role involves negotiating with sophisticated counterparties in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based out of the Dallas office and is well-suited for a high-performing attorney who is looking to grow their career outside of the traditional partnership track. The ideal candidate will join a collaborative team within one of the country’s leading law firms, engaging with diverse clients and contributing meaningfully to the broader legal team.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts with sophisticated counterparties

• J.D. from an accredited, nationally recognized law school with a strong academic record

• Experience in law firm or in-house settings (or a combination of both); Am Law 100 experience is a plus but not required

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas

Compensation:

Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills. The firm also offers a performance and hours-based bonus program.
