DIPTYQUE Paris Luxury Fragrance House, a renowned luxury fragrance house founded in 1961, has established itself as a leader in the market. The Maison is celebrated for its iconic scented candles, personal fragrances, bath and body products, and home décor. Its flagship boutique is located in Paris's 5th arrondissement at 34 Boulevard Saint Germain.
The Stock Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the store's inventory and stock areas in accordance with Company standards. The Supervisor will also support the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager in the store's operational performance. This includes minimizing stock loss, maintaining organized records, ordering supplies, adhering to housekeeping standards, handling merchandise appropriately, controlling expenses, and safeguarding company assets by following proper inventory control procedures. The Supervisor will be flexible and support the sales floor as needed, seamlessly transitioning between functions while maintaining high standards in both environments.
Responsibilities:
- Inspire and motivate the team by leading by example.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions that impact the store inventory.
- Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, as well as general store maintenance.
- Process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, transfers, and damages accurately based on Company policies and procedures.
- Support compliance with established Company policies and standards, including safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel practices, security, and record-keeping procedures.
- Communicate with the corporate operations team.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the products and be able to fully represent the brand in the store. Staff should be able to articulate both the new and key ranges for the season.
- Be proactive in utilizing training tools provided by Store Operations.
- Responsible for opening and closing the checklists.
- Ensure comprehensive knowledge of cash desk procedures and processes.
- Stay informed about all security, health, and safety issues and requirements of the store.
- As the key holder, ensure prompt and appropriate responses to all emergency calls.
- In the absence of the Store Management team, manage all emergency situations involving the store and team members.
- Maintain attention to detail and cleanliness in the boutique.
- Collaborate with Management to manage store maintenance efficiently.
- Manage inventory control, including delivery processing, adjustments, replenishment, and transfers.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing outbound deliveries, including client orders, store-to-store transfers, and RTVs.
- Complete quarterly OPS checklists and share action plans and results with SM/ASM.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
- Execute cycle counts.
- Manage the inventory result (shrink) twice a year, including preparation and execution.
- Ensure accuracy and timely execution of all omnichannel services, including e-reservation, click and collect, messenger, and engraving services.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Help solve problems and make informed decisions that impact the service and productivity of the receiving area.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Assist in completing price changes within the boutique.
- Participate in store meetings and training seminars as needed.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by managers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the luxury retail industry, with management experience preferred.
- Previous retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate teamwork and project management skills.
- Be assertive, dynamic, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Maintain impeccable grooming at all times, as our appearance should reflect our company and store.
- Manage receiving operations and stock levels effectively, including proper handling of merchandise.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Process information and merchandise through the computer system.
- Adapt priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
- Operate all necessary equipment, including phone systems, inventory-control computer systems, and office equipment.
- Work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Possess the physical ability to stand for extended periods, move, and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which involves heavy lifting

The salary offered will be determined based on candidates' relevant skills, experience, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package for this position may include bonus potential, competitive benefits, and other perks.
