Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable protection for structures. Duties

• Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, scraping, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), brushes, and rollers to apply paints, stains, varnishes, and coatings accurately and efficiently
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to determine project scope and specific requirements
• Perform surface preparation tasks such as plastering, masonry repairs, stucco application, and concrete finishing to create a smooth foundation for painting
• Execute various types of painting including residential painting, commercial painting, industrial coating applications, structural painting, and renovation projects
• Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all phases of work
• Assist with fixture installation, trim carpentry, framing repairs, drywall finishing, and other handyman tasks as needed to support project completion
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while ensuring all safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site painting or related renovation projects with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools including spray guns (conventional and airless), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding or ladder use for elevated work
• Knowledge of color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching during projects
• Experience working with various coatings such as primers, sealers, stains, lacquers, epoxies or industrial paints in different environments
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection protocols
• Additional handyman skills such as caulking, fixture installation or basic carpentry are advantageous for versatile project support

Pay: $25.30 - $30.47 per hour
