Duties
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly through sanding, scraping, caulking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, conventional spray painting, and airless paint spraying for efficient coverage and smooth finishes
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform surface preparation, coating application, and minor repairs on walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and fixtures
- Follow all safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocol guidelines during all phases of work
- Perform touch-ups and restoration work as needed to maintain high standards of craftsmanship on renovation projects
Skills
- Proven experience in residential painting as well as commercial and industrial coating applications
- Skilled in ladder use, scaffolding setup, and working at heights safely on construction sites
- Proficiency with various hand tools (brushes, scrapers), power tools (drills, sanders), paint sprayers (conventional and airless), and schematics interpretation
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including respiratory protection measures and safety protocol adherence
