We are looking for a Social Media Associate responsible for concepting, creating, appearing in, and optimizing engaging, social‑first content that drives brand awareness, community growth, and revenue through social commerce. This role combines a strong on‑camera presence, with creative storytelling, live‑selling execution, and a data-driven mindset to deliver high-performing content across platforms. Working cross-functionally, the Social Media Associate supports and executes social, influencer, affiliate and commerce strategies leveraging consumer insights, platform trends and performance analytics to continuously refine content and maximize impact.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our farm in Newtown PA. Remote work is not available for this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Fundamental and critical tasks, duties, and responsibilities necessary for the position to be performed effectively:
- Create, film, and edit engaging social content, with a focus on short-form video, while confidently representing the brand on camera in both recorded and live formats.
- Manage social media communities by monitoring and responding to comments and direct messages to foster engagement and positive brand sentiment.
- Support and execute social commerce initiatives, including TikTok Shop, Amazon Live, affiliate programs and commission-driven campaigns to drive conversions.
- Collaborate on content and campaigns that grow followers, boost engagement and increase sales across platforms.
- Produce high-quality visual assets, including photography, basic graphic design, and video editing for social ads, PDPs and shoppable assets.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and supports broader marketing and commerce goals.
- Track and analyze performance metrics across social, affiliate and commerce channels to measure effectiveness and inform improvements.
- Partner with the Social Media Manager to optimize content and marketing results.
- Assist in influencer and creator initiatives, including recruitment, relationship management, campaign execution and performance evaluation.
- Support photoshoots, including planning and coordination of external talent.
- Contribute to the development of PDP and social commerce content for key retail and digital accounts.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-4 years of experience in CPG social media, digital marketing and content creation with experience appearing on camera
- Proven experience creating short form video content (e.g. TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) that drives engagement and sales conversion.
- Hands-on experience managing social media accounts, including community engagement and moderation.
- Proven experience with social commerce platforms and affiliate marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with supporting influencer or creator campaigns, including outreach and performance tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze social media metrics and optimize content based on performance data.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, creative, e-commerce).
- Basic experience in photography, videography and content production for digital platforms.
- Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Exposure to e-commerce environments and PDP content creation is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
EDUCATION:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
TECHNICAL & COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Proficiency in social media platforms: Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootesuite, Later).
- Skilled in video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Familiarity with live streaming and social commerce tools (e.g., TikTok Live, Amazon Live).
- Understanding of platform analytics (TikTok Analytics, Instagram Insights, Meta Business Suite).
- Basic knowledge of affiliate platforms and tracking tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Office; Monday.com project management system a plus.
