Responsibilities
- Assisting the lead teacher in daily classroom activities.
- Providing individual support to students.
- Contributing to classroom management and behavior support.
- Aiding in the preparation of lesson materials.
- Supporting students during non-classroom activities like lunch and recess.
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with parents and other team members as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Prior experience working with children, particularly those with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a positive demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Completion of a Level II Background Screening successfully.
